The event started with great honor as the Ched Daïra of Médéa, accompanied by the directors of culture, tourism and crafts, industry, trade, and the director of vocational training, joined our founder, Hajj Omar Benkortbi, and his sons to inaugurate the official launch of the exhibition. This special exhibition showcased Kortobia's remarkable work, including exquisite mihrabs, wood carvings, and artistic furniture.
In the conference hall, the Chief of Daïra delivered his speech to the audience, welcoming the guests and expressing his pride towards Kortobia. Then, the founder of Kortobia, Hajj Omar Benkortbi, and the CEO, Mohamed Benkortbi, gave a speech about the company's journey over the sixty years and its commitment to preserving Algerian artistic heritage and Islamic influence, marking a significant moment of the event. They also expressed their gratitude to everyone who supported and contributed to the company's success.
As a token of appreciation for the presence of the Chief of Daïra, he was also honored with a significant gift.
The event resulted in a significant agreement between Kortobia Ardeco and Benyan Tech, under the supervision of the Chief of Daïra and the Director of Vocational Training. This agreement aims to train artisans in the field of woodworking, while preserving and developing this craft, as well as safeguarding the Algerian Arab-Islamic historical heritage.
During the event, both retired and current workers who played a vital role in Kortobia's journey were honored by presenting them with special wooden gifts, expressing gratitude for their contributions.
In the evening, Kortobia Ardeco organized an educational seminar on heritage, thereby emphasizing its commitment to preserving and promoting cultural traditions.
